CourtSense v2 — Heat Strain Wearable

A wearable that estimates real-time heat strain for people working outdoors, pivoted from an earlier sports-performance concept toward manual labor use cases. Firmware on an ESP32 reads a MAX30101 (heart rate), an SHT40 (ambient temp/humidity), and an MCP9808 (skin temp), computes a live strain score, and streams it over BLE to a dashboard.

Phase 1 is breadboard-first on hand — no custom PCB yet, on purpose, until the sensor fusion and firmware are solid.

Admitted into Eastern Tech's competitive engineering magnet program, with coursework spanning engineering fundamentals, CAD, and hands-on fabrication.

Created and ran a local lawn care business, profiting over $8,000 across two years, built entirely through word of mouth. Managed two employees, scheduling, and client relationships across more than 30 total clients.
